Horizontal concealed fan coil unit
Horizontal concealed fan coil units (without plenum boxes), often referred to as horizontal bare‑unit models, are the most basic standard terminal devices in central air-conditioning systems. The unit features a compact horizontal configuration and is designed for installation in horizontal spaces such as suspended ceilings or corridor ceilings. It does not include an integral return‑air plenum or supply‑air plenum; instead, it provides standard outlet flanges and return‑air connections, allowing the installer to connect ductwork on site or utilize the ceiling space for direct return airflow, as required.
