Horizontal concealed fan coil units (without plenum boxes), often referred to as horizontal bare‑unit models, are the most basic standard terminal devices in central air-conditioning systems. The unit features a compact horizontal configuration and is designed for installation in horizontal spaces such as suspended ceilings or corridor ceilings. It does not include an integral return‑air plenum or supply‑air plenum; instead, it provides standard outlet flanges and return‑air connections, allowing the installer to connect ductwork on site or utilize the ceiling space for direct return airflow, as required. This product is an integrated, horizontal concealed fan coil unit, specifically designed for installation within a suspended ceiling. The unit combines the heat exchange coil, fan, condensate system, return air plenum, and supply air static pressure box into a complete air-handling assembly. Prior to shipment, it has been fully assembled and thermally insulated and sealed, significantly reducing on-site component assembly work. It is primarily used in settings with stringent requirements for noise control and space, such as hotel rooms, office buildings, and hospital wards, and can easily accommodate various airflow configurations, including downward return air, rear return air, and multi-duct overhead supply air.
